How the numbers are worked out
Everything is bridged through metres and kilograms, so the answer is the same whichever direction you convert.
Width accepts inches, centimetres or metres — a 60" roll and a 1.52 m roll give identical results.
The price is the same total spend restated per target unit, which is what a costing sheet needs.
